Robert Schlueter is an Artist with a background in multiple disciplines. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and Graduated from UCSB with a fine arts major. While at UCSB he studied under Michael Arntz who was moving from large scale ceramics to installations that included clay along with other materials. Anne Hamilton also had a great influence over his work and expanded his views from singular pieces to installations and environments created using materials embedded with meaning and connection.

He worked in construction, fine arts publishing, education, and developed a knowledge of landscape design, interior design, furniture design, product design and architectural design. Having dabbled in this eclectic mix of disciplines, he decided to focus on producing artwork for architects and designers to create lasting, meaningful works that are part of the architecture and experience of the space
